Externally, The firm is one of the largest CPA firms in the Omaha area, ranking 10th in the annual survey of accounting firms as conducted by a local business publication and is ranked as the fourth largest diversity owned business in Nebraska by a national business publication. H&A has received numerous civic awards that most recently include recognition by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce.

The firm is also a member of the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS), the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) alliance of firms. Through its members from across the United States, the PCPS provides valuable practice management information, resources, and tools to ensure that members consistently exceed client expectations by maintaining high standards of service and presenting innovative solutions.
